As we set sail with a purpose, our new 2023-2024 board dives headfirst into a boundless sea of transformative actions/activities. This includes championing the 2024 IWD celebration, creating an enchanting series of interactive well-being books for Pacific children, advancing our partnership with DET, TAFE, VERTO & other NGOs in the second phase, nurturing the bonds of the Sunrise Sisterhood, and continuing our advocacy for mobilizing targeted resources for Pacific Communities, promoting gender equality and justice, listening to the voices of ‘Young Pacific Women’s Collective’, and creating spaces to encourage leadership in the realms of work and politics.
Since its inception in 2017, PWPBN has been fortunate to have a circle of friends who, even if they are not part of the board, have played a pivotal role in establishing a nurturing environment and providing ongoing support through their valuable advice and resources.
