Women are significantly underrepresented in politics in the Pacific Islands, given that only one in twenty Pacific parliamentarians are female, compared to one in five globally. Nevertheless, this year Samoa elected a woman as its head of government, only the second Pacific Island nation to do so – thanks in part to a network of women friends who supported her every step of the way.

We envisioned something unique, world history and speaks volumes of authenticity, funny with gravitas and as much depth as levity that it turns fear into hope, leaving one inspired.

An example of Break the Bias. No textbook anywhere has it written this political campaign strategy- ‘four female friends with nil political experience and not much interest, mothers and partially retired’ It is deserving of an annual Standing Ovation.
