Celebrating Women Leaders: IWD 2025

In honor of International Women’s Day 2025, we are thrilled to celebrate and acknowledge the incredible contributions of 30 Pacific women leaders.
This is our way of saying “thank you” and shining a light on their strength, resilience, and leadership.

“Leola Small is a seasoned marketing and business development professional based in Sydney, Australia, currently serving as the Head of Growth at Academy Xi, an education management company. In her role, she leads a talented marketing team, driving the company’s growth and expanding its impact in the education sector.

With over 20 years of experience, Leola has witnessed the evolution of marketing, particularly with the rise of digital platforms. She emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and adapting to new technologies, advocating for up-to-date, practical education over traditional degrees.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Leola is deeply committed to community service. For over 30 years, she has volunteered to support vulnerable and homeless communities in Sydney, a passion ignited by her parents at a young age. More than a decade ago, she co-founded Streethearts, a charity dedicated to assisting those in need. Streethearts collaborates with organizations like Turbans 4 Australia to provide essential supplies, such as toiletries, to the underprivileged.

Leola also contributes her time as a Lifeline Telephone Crisis Supporter and serves as a youth mentor with the Raise Foundation. Her dedication to both her profession and charitable activities showcases her commitment to personal growth and community betterment”

Stay tuned as we celebrate these inspiring women who continue to shape and lead our communities.
