This year’s theme, ‘Women of the Sea of Islands’, is a heartfelt tribute to the unifying bond and interconnectedness of the Pacific islands, echoing the visionary concept of Professor Epeli Hau’ofa,” Lo’au said.

“It harmonizes seamlessly with the 2024 International Women’s Day theme, ‘Count Her In: Pioneering Gender Equality through Economic Empowerment’.

“The Frangipani Gala 2024 is an exciting demonstration of PWPBN’s unwavering commitment to inclusivity and the wholehearted recognition of every woman and girl within our vibrant community.

But that’s not all! Through our fundraising component, Frangipani Gala 2024 holds a profound commitment to supporting women’s initiatives, including education and entrepreneurship programs.

“Our goal is to empower women and girls, not just within NSW but throughout Australia,” said Lo’au.
