In honor of International Women’s Day 2025, we are thrilled to celebrate and acknowledge the incredible contributions of 30 Pacific women leaders.
This is our way of saying “thank you” and shining a light on their strength, resilience, and leadership.
“Annette Posimani has crafted an interesting career. First employment was as a NZ trained Police Officer she enjoyed the role for over 5 years leaving with a plan to pursue specialisation in child, youth, and family. This began internationally across two continents as a volunteer with Youth With a Mission before settling in Australia in 1996 to work and attend University, graduating with Masters in Community Management and later a Post Grad in Conflict Resolution (Family Law). Originally from the Rock of Polynesia- Niue, Annette has maintained a unique cultural perspective, dedication to justice and community well-being.
Annette continues to be an active community advocate both professionally and spiritually. Annette previously served as the Public Officer for the Pacific Women’s Professional and Business Network (PWPBN), contributing to initiatives that empower and uplift Pacific Islander women.
Currently, Annette is studying Pastoral Leadership online at a Pentecostal Bible College as well as Cert IV in Mental Health at TAFE. It is now clear to Annette that her mission is taking the word of God seriously, learning to love people and teaching at TAFENSW professionally.”
Stay tuned as we celebrate these inspiring women who continue to shape and lead our communities.
