Celebrating Women Leaders: IWD 2025

In honor of International Women’s Day 2025, we are thrilled to celebrate and acknowledge the incredible contributions of 30 Pacific women leaders.
This is our way of saying “thank you” and shining a light on their strength, resilience, and leadership.

“Lily is currently the Executive Manager, People and Culture at Community First Step (CFS) www.cfs.asn.au, where she has returned to her roots in the community sector.

With over the past 30 years, Lily had worked primarily in the NGO sector in the areas of children’s services, disability, and community services, at management levels. She also spent a few years with the Department of Education and consulted in community engagement in the private sector.

Guided by the values of Social Justice, Equity, Diversity, Empowerment, and Procedural Fairness, Lily’s career highlights include leading the longest-operating children’s contact centre in NSW with Macquarie Legal Centre, establishing four children’s contact services in in Lismore, Coffs Harbor, Dubbo and Orange, and presenting a paper at an International Conference on The Rights of the Child in Arizona, USA, in 2004.

Lily is deeply committed to advocacy, social justice, and empowering Pacific Islander communities, which have shaped both her professional journey and personal values.”

Stay tuned as we celebrate these inspiring women who continue to shape and lead our communities.
